Herman Bavinck, Our Reasonable Faith. Despite the lack of indices and an occasional problem with the translation, this is the best one-volume systematic theology book I’ve ever come across. Biblical, Christ-centred, balanced, well-informed, addressing mind and heart, full of insight… If I were running a degree-level systematics course, this is the book everyone would have to read.
